The rain poured down upon the stacked rows of solders, reverberating the tinny sound as each drop landed on the iron armour of the Lakota tribe. Grim faces stared forwards with squinting eyes as the water washed over their faces.

Lightning struck just beyond the enemy army, outlining dark sinister figures snarling in the distance. The wind flapping their standard to and fro, bearing their insignia ‘the bloody hand’.

As one soldier steps forward out of the shadows his left eye is just visible, a worrying, disturbed yet focussed eye staring down the battlefield finding the enemy and destroying all confidence. It is a dark red eye and it burns with hunger for the fight that is about to unfold.

As the battle was about to unfold a yellow rot gollum appeared from amongst the enemy’s ranks, its skin was covered in wounds and bruises from head to toe. As it lurched to the front ranks the gollum continued to pound its club on the ground. Its veins could be seen its muscles tensed with each stroke.

The soldier stared down the beast from across the battlefield. Its vile cheesy stench permeated from the enemy lines. He reaches behind and draws out an arrow tipped with the venom of a sand scorpion, draws the arrow and takes aim. The soldier lets the arrow loose, its flight hitting home and taking down the beast. An thunderous wail emenates from the dying monster as it drops to the ground.

A girl was walking by the forest. She heard the sounds from the battlefield not far away from her, but chose to ignore it. Shoving her cold hands into her hoodie pockets, the girl walked away quietly. She had a smug smile on her lips.

The smug smile was quick to disappear as a low growl sounded behind her. Turning, she spotted a set of red eyes peering at her from the darkness of the forest. Shuddering, she back away.

Slip. Slide. Till you die. The man was a fan of a certain kind of hip hop. He was older than you would think. Some of his best memories were waiting for his mother to finish getting her haircut. The smell of burnt hair, and Sting on the radio. Maybe a pizza later, a square one. Lucky days were had to soon. Now he hangs at the bottom end of that parabola. The girl draws him away from the battlefield. He stalks quietly after her. A inhuman figure leaps from the shadows and runs towards the girl. As she screams, he pulls his swords and runs toward the viile creature. His sword slices through it as if it is made of dark smoke.

The creature drops to the ground, its spasmodic movements causing its black life blood to violently spray out. Eventually the creature stops to a sudden death, its lidless eyes glaze over as its life and soul dissipates to the nether region.

The smell of metallic iron clouds the air as the soldier suddenly realizes what he has done. "Duck! Don't breath!" He shouts to the girl throwing himself over her. He wraps his large scarred hands around her mouth and pushes her to the ground consequently. He feels her body go limp with sudden fear from the man on top of her. He hesitantly whispers in her ear trying to ignore the tantalizing floral arouma of her skin. "Try not to inhale while I walk. This poison can inflict paralysis on anyone who inhales it. The girl nodded feverishly not noticing that the soldier was indeed inhaling deeply as he carried her away from the scene.
